As you make your way up through the townhouse, the main bedroom feels unexpectedly light and tucked away above the rest of the house, with views across the rooftops and the sea just beyond.
The bathroom is crisp and contemporary. The second bedroom is deliberately straightforward: a small, practical single room for an extra guest.
Some of the nicest photographs come from guests themselves. These, shared with permission, say it better than any pet-policy paragraph could.
The little house has welcomed guests on the eve of weddings at Brighton's seafront Bandstand nearby. Those small, personal stories belong here because they say something about how the house is actually used and remembered.
